Olivia Welch - Curator

Olivia Welch is a curator based between Gundungurra Country/Bowral and Gadigal Country/Sydney. She is Assistant Director at Ngununggula Regional Gallery Bowral. Olivia holds a First-Class Honours degree in Art History and Theory and Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership from UNSW. In recent roles, Olivia has worked across experiential learning, touring exhibitions, and sector development. She has served as Co-Chair of the Firstdraft Board of Directors and has worked as an exhibitions assistant and curator in Lisbon, Portugal and Gadigal Country/Sydney.

Steven Harvey - Judge

Sydney born Steven Harvey completed a Bachelor of Art (Education) at the City Art Institute, Sydney in 1986 and a Post Graduate Diploma in 1989. In 1994 Steven graduated with a Masters of Art (Painting) from the University of New South Wales College of Fine Arts. Steven has held numerous notable solos exhibitions and has participated in several key touring and invitational exhibitions. In 1997, Harvey was awarded an Artist in Residence at Arthur Boyd’s Bundanon Trust Studio in New South Wales and in 1998 was selected as the inaugural Artist in Residence at the University of New South Wales. Steven lives and creates from his studio in the Southern Highlands and is a senior lecturer in painting at the National Art School.
