Sculpture in the Valley presents an exhibition of inspiring sculptural works of art set in the grounds of Ceder Grove, 189 Jarretts Lane, a beautiful private house in Kangaroo Valley. Cedar Grove offers both an intimate rural setting and expansive valley views for the outdoor sculpture and a professional exhibition space for the indoor exhibition.

Exhibits are submitted by artists from all over New South Wales as well as many talented local artists. Each exhibit is set to best advantage amongst the trees and grounds of this stunning local property. Visitors can nominate their favourite for a chance to win the People's Choice Award. The exhibition is gaining in popularity with numbers of visitors growing steadily. with each exhibition.

Sculpture in the Valley 2019 Judges ​
Jennifer Turpin
Jennifer Turpin is Co-founder and Director of StudioTCS which evolved from the award winning art practice of Turpin and Crawford Studio. A leading public art sculptor, Jennifer’s large scale public, community and environmental art work of considerable scale and beauty, focus on major urban and regional renewal projects.
Recipient of numerous prestigious awards including a Churchill Fellowship 2016, American Architecture Prize, Landscape Architecture 2016 and commissions from governments, public authorities, councils, in particular City of Sydney and corporations within Australia and overseas.
Jennifer was a judge at the Sculpture in the Valley 2017 exhibition and it is wonderful that she has agreed to share her considerable knowledge again at Sculpture in the Valley 2019 exhibition.
Akky van Ogtrop
Akky van Ogtrop works as an independent curator with art museums, galleries and contemporary art spaces, presenting exhibitions by Australian and international artists. As director and manager of major arts events, Akky van Ogtrop has worked for national and international arts organisations including the Biennale of Sydney, ARTiculate Campaign, the World Out West and she is the Founder and Executive Director of the Sydney Art on Paper Fair and is the appointed Curator of Paper Contemporary at Sydney Contemporary Art Fair.

Akky is presently serving on various boards, including: President of the Print Council of Australia, President of Sydney Chamber Music Festival, President of Walter Burley Griffin Society and Board member of Dutch Link Inc. A Foundation member of the Art Gallery of NSW, Akky is also an Approved Valuer Australia Government’s Cultural Gift Program.

Sculpture in the Valley 2017:
- 170 sculptures were selected and exhibited.
- Strong sculpture sales, 40% of sculptures were sold.
- Open to emerging and experienced artists alike.
