Photographic Competition
Sculpture in the Valley is a visually exciting and memorable event. Everyone who visits the exhibition takes away memories of the wonderful sculptures and the beautiful surroundings that compliment them and display them to great effect.

Each year we invite visitors to capture their favourite piece with a photograph for the photographic competition, which inspires some high quality entries for the prizes.

SITV Photo Competition Terms and Conditions of Entry
This competition is open to all visitors to Sculpture in the Valley 2023. Entrants under the age of 18 years must have the approval of a parent or legal guardian. Photos must be taken at the 2023 Sculpture in the Valley. Content of an inappropriate or offensive nature is not permitted.
If a photo shows an identifiable person/people, by submitting the photo to this competition the entrant is stating that they have the permission of the people shown in the entered photo to include them in the photo, and that they have no objections to the photo being published or used in any medium for any purpose. If taking a photo of a person under the age of 18, permission from their parent/ guardian must be obtained.
Photos must be natural looking – photos that have been enhanced or altered, such as photoshopped images, will not be accepted. Minor adjustments such as sharpening, contrast, and cropping are acceptable.
By entering this competition, the entrant is stating that they are the creator of the image and own the copyright of the image.
This competition is being run by the Sculpture in the Valley, Arts in the Valley.
All entrants give permission to reproduce any submitted images on our website, social media sites and/or in any future material produced for promotion, advertising or marketing purposes. Use of a photo will be free of charge and photo credit will be given where possible.
The competition winners will be judged by Sculpture in the Valley the Arts in the Valley Committee. The decision of the committee is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
Entries will be judged on the portrayal of Sculpture in the Valley artworks, activities, events, and/or are the most original and interesting and appropriate for publication.
The judges will select the winners of the first, second prize.
The entrant indemnifies the Committee against any claim, legal or otherwise, that may arise out of the publication of the image.
This is not a game of chance.
