I have faced many difficulties in life, coming from a broken home of domestic violence and abuse, and health issues that interrupted my education. Yet in the harshness of my life, I have been blessed. I am a Christian and have known God for as long as I can remember. I believe God protected me in my darkest moments. In the last 5 years I have spent many hours walking in the Bay and Basin area, discussing the issues and pain of my past and I have been given overwhelming peace. On these walks with God I take photos of his beautiful creation.  Description I have not always known peace and safety in my life. Yet in this place my mind empties from worry and fear. In peace I trust that everything before and behind me are all in God’s hands. This is an image of Sanctuary Point boat ramp during floods. I call this image ‘Flooding Peace’ because seeing this place overflowing reminded me of God’s peace that floods my heart.
