Arts in the Valley

Part-time Administration Manager position

Arts in the Valley is a lively, not-for-profit arts organisation which has organised a wide variety of cultural events such as music concerts, visual art exhibitions and sculpture shows in Kangaroo Valley for a number of years.

Arts in the Valley seeks to engage a hands-on, paid, part-time Administration Manager as a friendly, efficient person to carry out some of its day-to-day activities including:

  • Website, social media and data base management and development

  • Public marketing and community liaison

  • Communication with members, artists and arts organisations

  • General administration of AitV

  • Supporting the Music, Sculpture and Visual Arts Directors in their organising of key events

  •

We estimate the total hours required each year at around 250-350 hours, ie, this is, in total approximately a 15-20% position.  In the periods of higher intensity, there might be a monthly requirement of around 50 hours.

While there is some activity throughout the year, most work will arise during particular initiatives, such as renewal of memberships, holding music concerts and organising biennial visual arts and sculpture events.

A detailed job description is available on request.  We hope to make the appointment to commence in October with an overlap period with the current Manager across August/September.

Enquiries regarding the position should be directed to Peter Butler on 0419565661.

Applications, including a current resume should be made to Peter Butler at peter.butler@hsf.com by 15 August 2025.
