Balancing uncertainty in this too-often binary world is akin to keeping a heavy weight constantly suspended. Memory and forgetting, sedimentation and erosion, structure and chaos, pattern and obliteration – this is the shifting balance of everything; the more we understand, the more we realise the enormity of what we don’t. Brief biography I have been exhibiting over the last 15 years. During that time, I transitioned from showing painted works to photographic media and in the last two years, mixed media constructions. I have been a finalist in various art competitions, including the Blake Prize, the Fisher’s Ghost Prize and the NOW Contemporary Art Prize. I have had eleven solo exhibitions (including four at regional galleries) and participated in numerous group exhibitions. My works have been acquired by public institutions including Parliament House Canberra, Orange Regional Gallery, Southern Cross University and the Gold Coast Arts Centre.
