This scene is inspired from a dream. I cannot pinpoint where it exists in reality but gives me a sense of nostalgia. My interests in landscapes are the light and colour of the sky, and how these create different moods in the image.  Bio I was born in Tokyo, and migrated to Australia in 1989. The sky and clouds often are my main inspiration and I work mostly with oil. After receiving JAAS Brett Whiteley Scholarship, I completed a Diploma of Fine Arts from Julian Ashton Art School in 2019. I obtained Bachelor of Visual Art from ECU, Perth, and studied contemporary realism at University of Maine, U.S.A as a part of an exchange study program. I have exhibited in Sydney and the Illawarra, and was awarded a highly commended at Kiama Art Society 39 th annual exhibition. I now live and work from Wollongong.
