For over twenty years Githa Pilbrow has been inspired by beautiful surroundings in the South coast area. Githa studied at the Julian Ashton Art School and has a BA in Fine Arts from the City Art Institute in Sydney. She has exhibited in the Shoalhaven Gallery and the Bowral District Art Gallery. In Sydney she has exhibited in the Powerhouse Museum and the Palm House in the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens. Her primary interest is in landscapes. She won the inaugural Arts in the Valley art prize in 2007.
