The Kangaroo Valley Art Prize welcomes all original visual artwork, in any style and any medium, including painting in any medium, drawing, printmaking, digital, photographic and video art, textile and fabric art, multi-media and new media from Australian artists or artists residing in Australia.  Please read the Terms & Conditions before entering.

 

The Tony White Memorial Art Prize welcomes the same range of artwork with an emphasis on innovative contemporary works.  Eligibility is restricted to young emerging Australian artists 30 years or younger as of 1 October 2020.   Works submitted in this category are also automatically eligible for the Kangaroo Valley Art Prize.  Please read the Terms & Conditions  before entering.

 

The Salon of Local Artists welcomes the same range of visual artwork from artists, but eligibility is restricted to artists residing in or having a studio in Kangaroo Valley (as defined in the Terms & Conditions).  Local artists may apply to the Art Prize or the Salon or both (limit of two entries combined).

COVID Safety Plan
 

At Arts in the Valley, we can reassure you that we will be COVID safe.  We will follow all regulations and guidelines both for Galleries and for Community Halls, including numbers, physical distancing, record keeping and hygiene and cleaning.  We will observe strict recording, physical distancing and hygiene measures to protect the health of visitors and staff. Our COVID-19 Response Team is in the process of developing a detailed COVID-19 Venue Safety Plan which will be registered with NSW Health to become a COVID-Safe Event.  We just wanted you to know.  In the meantime, stay safe everyone.  We look forward to seeing you over the October long-weekend in Australia’s most beautiful valley.
