As part of the wonderful 2018 Concert Weekend, Arts in the Valley brought a Steinway Concert Grand piano to valley. No small endeavour as you can well imagine. Bringing such a magnificent instrument certainly provided the quality of sound our musicians and audience immensely appreciated. In addition, we were able to offer some wonderful opportunities for people interested in pianos.

Firstly, we had a professional tuner to tune up the piano for the concerts who was also able to tune some privately owned pianos in the village, including the school piano. It has never sounded so good!

Some very lucky budding pianists were also able to experience playing on a world class piano and for them it was a dream come true.

Our thanks go to Elizabeth Clark who arranged this wonderful instrument to come to the valley, which gave so much pleasure to so many people.
