David Malouf

David Malouf was born in Brisbane in 1934 and lives now in Sydney. He is a poet, fiction writer, librettist and occasional writer of essays. He is the author of ten books of fiction, including Johnno, An Imaginary Life, Fly Away Peter, The Great World and Remembering Babylon, and six collections of verse, the latest being Typewriter Music and a new selected poems, Revolving Days. The essay On Experience was published by MUP in 2008.
