McKay, Ian

Ian McKay is a leading Australian independent architect. His most recent large project was the award-winning Byron Bay Community Centre. When part of Philip Cox & McKay, he won the Sulman award twice: in 1963 for St Andrew’s Agricultural College and in 1965 for the CB Alexander Agricultural College, which has subsequently been named a building of the decade. McKay now lives and works in and around Byron Bay
