Supporting Arts in the Valley

Kangaroo Valley Arts Festival Inc. is a “not for profit association” and shall apply its endeavours and funds towards achieving the following objectives:

  1. To promote and bring classical and fine contemporary music that is of a high quality by live performances, recorded performances and other available media, to Kangaroo Valley and thereby encourage the appreciation, enjoyment and understanding of such music amongst the local community and visitors.
  2. To foster and promote local talent by the commissioning of the writing of musical works for performance or recording.
  3. To showcase the talents of the visual artists in Kangaroo Valley and to promote artists through the commissioning of visual artistic works.
  4. To organise, foster, promote, and present in Kangaroo Valley or elsewhere performances, exhibitions, and festivals of classical and other music and of the visual and performing arts.
  5. To promote a focus for community involvement and for social interaction.
  6. To attract visitors to Kangaroo Valley.
  7. To maintain a public fund to which the public contributes and which is controlled and administered by a committee of the members of the association for the purpose of achieving the above objectives of the association.

Membership

Kangaroo Valley Arts Festival Inc. (KVAF) holds biennial festivals of classical and fine contemporary music integrated with the visual arts. In addition to the festivals, there are other concerts from time to time.

We invite you to join KVAF in our exciting venture to keep Kangaroo Valley prominent in the artistic life of Australia, and to support the organising committee by becoming a member of KVAF.

Volunteers

We welcome contact from people willing to volunteer to help with Arts in the Valley festivals, and with one-off concerts. We need assistance with many tasks, big and small, long and short-term.
